North Carolina state parks has one of the oldest rivers in North America, rugged hillsides, and majestic mountains dotted with small farms, churches and country stores. If you want to be immersed in nature you can enjoy camping in whatever kind of geologic area there.

The New River State Park includes about 20 campsites(Ten of those sites have tent pads and ten are for RV’s) that you can drive up to with electric hook ups.

If you do not want to miss the show, starting on September 19th you can see the fall foilage. The better time for the higher elevations in the mountains is usually late September to early October.

NCF(Noontootla Creek Farms) is a privately held farm in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. It is now open to the public with over 1,500 acres and two miles of quality trout water.

Compared many others private trophy trout, NCF’s fly fishing is more technical in nature. This is a high quality trout fishery that is enjoyed by all for both it’s beauty and the way it fishes. The rewards are big, as well.

Hatches are limited in the Fall & Winter but Spring brings out the stonefly, caddis, mayfly and midge hatches. Summer brings out the terrestrials.
