I do not like travel insurance. The idea of having to pay,one thing that might not need is one thing that puzzles me. Also, I hate the idea to have to do with plenty of pile of paperwork each time open an account with these kind of services.

So, I can confirm that I don’t tends to travel with insurance for short trips. Of course, there’s an exception: If you are make a working holiday such as working random, or unfamiliar jobs, there are chance that you might find yourself doing a job that might bring a little of risk.

The chance to having high risk puts the scare into me and purchase a travel insurance package is always in my mind whenever I must do working holiday.

However, before to choose a travel insurance company, you need to read well their policy because most of that companies don’t cover for working abroad. For instance, World Nomad’s is great choice if you don’t know how long you want to stay abroad for, because you can buy it month by month if you want.

If you decide to buy World Nomads insurance, make sure to using my Promotional Code to get a whopping %5 discount. The code is JCBDEJ and the better thing is that it doesn’t expire.

So I guess in summary… for short trips I do not advice insurance, for travel works insurance is a smart move because it will save your ass in an emergency. However, make sure your policy actually covers you while you’re working!
